Wings (2013)

Wings (2013)

Valentine’s Day is on its way, so when the topic this week, “Wings”, popped up, I immediately thought of Cupid.

This is the result: a very quick collage I made using cut paper and watercolor washes.

This is my first Illustration Friday post in a year and a half.

The reason? I had a little cherub of my own last March who has truly captured my heart. (And kept me extraordinarily busy!)

I am so glad to be back in the habit of doing my art. I really missed it!

Below is my latest illustration for Joomla Magazine to promote the Google Summer of Code event.

A silly twist on this week’s illustration theme: “capable”.

Just a simple pencil drawing with watercolor wash, in the spirit of my favorite time of year: Autumn!
